Systematic page of theraphosids was updated according to last 2008-2009 changes. Notes on new proposed subfamilies (Sinurticantinae and Harpactirellinae, both by Schmidt, 2008) and 4 new genera added: Magulla, Kochiana, Guyruita and Cubanana.

Information on Abnormalities in theraphosids updated with the data on the lifespan of Russian specimen.
